Follow the procedure below to remove the Extend Enterprise Backup software from a client machine. Please note that this process will only remove the client software. To avoid recurring invoicing for the service your IT provider will need to remove your backup account and data from the online backup server.
Removing Client Software from a local computer or server
Open ‘Control Panel’ on the local computer, and then open the ‘Programs and Features’ item. |

Find the ‘Extend Technology ExtendBackup’ application in the programs list, and click on it. Then click the ‘Uninstall’ button above. |

Accept the confirmation warning to uninstall the software by clicking ‘Yes’ |

Accept the uninstall completion by clicking ‘OK’. There may be some local file elements remaining which it is unnecessary to remove. However if you wish to the entire ‘C:\Program Files\Extend Technology\ExtendBackup’ folder can now be deleted manually. |

The application has now been removed. Ensure that your local IT Provider or Extend Support have removed your account and data from the online backup server to avoid additional invoicing.
